KLRTC XlV

As part of its mandate for capacity-building at the local government level, training is a critical activity for CITYNET. All CITYNET members are now divided into "Clusters" -- groups of cities with similar priorities, urban issues, and capacity-building requirements. Based on this, training programmes are organised and sponsorships provided to members of that particular cluster. CITYNET training programmes are led by experts from its vast network of contacts and associates.

Seminar & Fora

CITYNET regularly hosts Seminars, Workshops and Fora to increase knowledge on pressing urban issues and developments affecting our cities.

KLRTC

KLRTC is a transnational training ground for urban management. Past KLRTC sessions have included: Integrated Urban Planning; Sustainable Solid Waste Management and Sustainable Transportation Systems, among others.

CIFAL

The International Training Centres for Local Authorities and Local Actors (CIFAL) are hubs for capacity building and knowledge sharing between local and regional authorities.
