Infrastructure I Nagoya

To contribute to capacity-building for sustainable regional development. To provide a venue for exchange, to maximize learning potential, and to increase awareness on sustainable regional development.

Issues of regional development: human security, environment management, disaster management, and the living environment were examined. Study visits to migrants’ centres, recyclables collection stations, private enterprises, incineration plants, and disaster management facilities gave participants a broad view of the Japanese model of development.

The participants found this training was a very useful, and they will take back a number of key learnings from it. Particularly 3R, disaster management, rain water harvesting.

CN will follow up them to gather important knowledge and take up in action plan.
