Members viewing disaster plans in coastal cities; Danang, Vietnam
Faced with the challenge of protecting vulnerable cities from the risks of disaster, the Disaster Cluster organises programmes and activities focused on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM). The cluster integrates DRRM, response to the impacts of climate change as well as urban planning and management into one cohesive whole. Through various activities, CITYNET enables members to form action plans which include urban risk profiling, capacity-building for local authorities, and compilations of best practices.
