Introduction
Suva is the capital city of Fiji and is located on the Southeast coast of the island of Viti Levu. It is the commercial and political center of Fiji, as well as its main port city. Suva has a vibrant cultural heritage, and its people are from many ethnic backgrounds.
The Suva City Council has made it their mission to effectively and efficiently manage the City affairs in partnership with the Government, Private Sector, International Agencies, Civil Societies Religious and Community-based groups in our joined, committed and focused effort to achieve their stated vision: To continually create and improve those factors in the physical, social and economic environments which will enhance and improve the quality of life of all sectors of the City Community and visitors.City Data (2009)
