  • Introduction

    Ho Chi Minh City, located in the south of Viet Nam, enjoys favorable geographical, human and natural endowments for economic development. The City has always occupied a strategic position in the South as a dynamic business hub and a regional gateway to the outside world.
    The city has a total area of 2,094 square kilometers, with a population of nearly 8 million people. The year-on-year GDP growth rate of Ho Chi Minh was about 11% in 2008.
    This is a vibrant and charming city, with friendly people and rich culture. It is also one of the safest and fastest-growing cities in Asia.
    The city is a center of education and training of the country, with 90 universities and colleges hosting over 380,000 students.
