CITYNET Secretariat visits the National Chapter

The Bangladesh National Chapter is looking to start the new year with some operational and institutional revitalisation and changes. This was underscored by a long overdue visit to Dhaka City Cooperation, host of the chapter made by the CITYNET Secretariat's Communications and Information Officer, Sonya Poller where challenges and ideas for development of the chapter were discussed. A meeting with the Mayor of Dhaka City, Sadeque Hossain Khoka, MP and Dr. Tariq Bin Yousuf , Chief of the Solid Waste Divsion further confirmed the continued commitment of Dhaka City, also chair of CITYNET's Climate Change Cluster. The Chapter's Secretariat is scheduled to meet within the next weeks where approximately two representatives per municipality will focus on project and promotional opportunities.
