Seoul - 10th Training Workshop for Municipal Officials of Foreign Cities

The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) will hold the 10th Training Workshop for Municipal Officials of Foreign Cities in an effort to enhance cooperation and share information with cities around the world. Previously the opportunity to participate in this program was only open to Seoul’s Sister cities; however, SMG has decided to expand the participation opportunity to include two more
cities from CITYNET.

This annual workshop, which was launched in 2001, is to be held from October 18, 2010 to October 24, 2010. This year, the workshop will include programs such as field trips and discussion sessions on Seoul’s administrative achievements and the best city policies in transportation, environment and IT fields. Meanwhile the participants will be asked to give a presentation on major administrative policy, and the best practices of their city governments.Please submit applications to CITYNET Secretariat by August 30, 2010. After receiving all applications, Seoul and CITYNET will select two cities to participate in the workshop.
