1st International Organisation World Cup

As World Cup fever spreads across the globe, why not try out your own moves in an internationally-oriented futsal tournament? CITYNET Youth Japan invites you to participate in the 1st International Organisation World Cup! On Saturday, July 10th. 5-8 person teams made up of representatives from various international organisations in Yokohama and Tokyo, along with university students interested in international cooperation, will gather to compete for the title of International Organisation Futsal Champion.

Team Size: 5-8 people
Registration Fee: ¥500-1000 per person (approximately)
The games: This will be a tournament where teams will be paired according to the lottery. Winner will be decided by the number of goals. If the match ends in a scoreless game, penalty kicks will be used to decide the winner. Elimination rounds will begin from the quarterfinals.

How to register: Players are welcome to register either as individuals or as a team. Please send an e-mail to youth_japan@citynet-ap.org with your name, e-mail address, and phone number. If you would like to register as a team, include the names of all team members, gender and team name (perhaps your favorite team to win the real World Cup!). Upon confirmation of your participation, you will receive detailed directions to the game site and a time schedule. Registration fees must be paid on site prior to the games on July 10th.

After game celebration: If you would like to join us for the after game dinner in Chinatown, please let us know when you register. Cost: 1,600-2,000 yen per person.
