12th Japan Forum: Water Supply & Non-Revenue Water Reduction

Asian cities have been struggling to supply water provisions to their population. With the rapid growth of urban population and decreasing water sources, city governments are expected to efficiently manage their water and reduce the amount of unaccounted water, known as Non‐Revenue Water (NRW).
The twelfth CITYNET Japan Forum on “Water Supply & Non‐ Revenue Water Reduction” will highlight the challenges that Asian cities have encountered and the roles that local governments and community can play. The Forum will be held in conjunction with the Annual Yokohama Waterworks Training Course from 7‐18 December 2009.
