  Lyon, France is located in a central and strategic geographical area in Europe, just 2 hours from Paris by High Speed Train. The city offers a generous, varied landscape and an excellent quality of life with a wealth of services.
  For two decades the number of inhabitants has regularly increased and we anticipate welcoming 200,000 additional residents to the urban area within the next 20 years.
  Lyon the second most visited city in France after Paris.
  This is the result of combined efforts and enthusiasm in forging the city’s character and encouraging people’s interest in living in a dynamic, healthy city.
  Lyon has kept its identity by preserving its heritage (our old districts feature on the Unesco World Heritage List), whilst embracing modernity and innovation with projects like the “Confluence”. This is currently the biggest city centre rehabilitation project in Europe.
  Our heritage was also enhanced with the implementation of a Lighting Scheme which is permanently taking into account energy efficiency issues. Today, over 300 sites of major architectural interest are lit up at night.
